In the wake of the SCOTUS draft that would end the right to an abortion for millions for women, Rep. Brian Fitzpatrick is now trying to hide from the radical Republican agenda he has aligned with.
When asked by LevittownNow, Fitzpatrick refused to comment on the draft ruling that would allow Pennsylvania Republicans to ban and criminalize abortion.
But he’s made his position clear on reproductive rights:
An America without abortion is what Rep. Brian Fitzpatrick, along with every other House Republican, signaled he supported while voting against the Women’s Health Protection Act – siding directly with GOP legislatures across the country voting to criminalize abortion without any exceptions for victims of rape and incest.
Republicans have been open about pushing a 6-week national ban on abortion and other states criminalizing abortions. And more important, every Republican running for governor in Pennsylvania would seek to limit abortion access.
DCCC Spokesperson James Singer
“Brian Fitzpatrick’s attempts to hide his alignment with those who would ban and criminalize abortion are pathetic.”
