Tyler Kistner has been remarkably silent since Friday’s landmark Supreme Court decision overturning Roe v. Wade and paving the way for Republicans in Congress to ban abortion nationwide. Kistner even refused to comment on the decision when asked over the weekend by the Star Tribune.
But Kistner’s silence can’t hide his extreme anti-choice record that is entirely out of step with Minnesotans. Kistner has said he’s “100% pro-life” and advocated to cut off all federal funding to Planned Parenthood.
“Tyler Kistner can try to hide his extreme anti-choice record all he wants, but Minnesotans see right through his desperate silent act to cover up his unpopular position,” said DCCC spokesperson Elena Kuhn. “The truth is that Kistner would be a rubber stamp for his Washington party leaders and their crusade to institute a nationwide abortion ban – and he’s entirely out of step with MN-02 voters.”
