HIDE AND WON’T SPEAK: Mowers, Huff Brown Silent on Roe Repeal

Since Friday’s enormous decision to strip women across the country of their right to make decisions about their own health care, the MAGA GOP field has been…quiet? Only Karoline Leavitt and Tim Baxter have been willing to be clear with voters on their radical anti-abortion positions since the decision.

Both their main rivals, Gail Huff Brown and Matt Mowers, have been completely silent since the decision. Which begs the question, why so quiet?

Here are the positions Gail and Matt are trying to hide from voters:

• Matt Mowers is proudly “anti-abortion” and supportes overturning Roe. He previously attacked a Republican for supporting right to an abortion, and was endorsed in the past by a group who would ban all abortions with no exceptions and opposed the morning after pill.

• Gail Huff Brown has said “Roe v. Wade should be overturned” and supported draconian abortion bans in states like Texas and Oklahoma. Just days after the SCOTUS leak, Huff Brown affirmed her support overturning Roe v. Wade.
