Voters across the country see how toxic Hines is after a week of bad headlines
NC-13 GOP candidate Bo Hines is having a rough week. He has proved time and time again that he is not the right choice for North Carolinians, but don’t take our word for it:
“While the Hines ad tries to appeal to voters who hold what his grandpa called ‘North Carolina values,’ the ad fails to mention where it was filmed: Indiana.”
“Hines appeared with Trump at a rally in North Carolina and gained his endorsement, and he told the Washington Post the 2020 election was stolen. He said he believed abortions should be banned with no exceptions and that schools like Yale are liberal indoctrination programs.”
“Right after Bo Hines won a crowded primary forCongress in North Carolina, a visitor to the Republican hopeful’s campaign website would immediately find his declaration that he was “100 percent Pro-Life” and “100 percent Pro-Trump.”
“Just a click away was a section focused on “life and family” issues, which professed Hines’ position that “life begins at conception” and his commitment to “protect the rights of the unborn.”
“Naturally, the first thinggreeting any visitor to the site was the grinning face of Donald Trump—and his endorsement of Hines’ campaign.
“Today, all of that is gone.”
DCCC Spokesperson Monica Robinson:
“No matter how hard he may try to hide it, the truth is plain to see: Bo Hines is a toxic candidate running a failure of a campaign. With only 40 days until Election Day, Hines’ extremism and political opportunism is on full display.”
