Hinson and Miller-Meeks Vote Against Good-Paying American Jobs

House Democrats pass CHIPS and Science Act to create jobs, secure supply chains, out-compete China

Today, House Democrats passed the CHIPS and Science Act, legislation that will reduce America’s reliance on foreign countries, boost our ability to compete with China, and secure supply chains through good-paying American manufacturing jobs. Republicans, on the other hand, are trying to take a wrecking ball to solutions that will better America and in turn give China the upper hand and put our national security at risk.

Hinson and Miller-Meeks voted against this legislation, following their party boss’ directives instead of serving the American people.

This legislation, now headed to President Biden’s desk, will create jobs, strengthen national security, and help address inflation.

DCCC spokesperson Helen Kalla:
“Hinson and Miller-Meeks’ votes against securing good-paying manufacturing jobs, strengthening our supply chain, and boosting America’s competitiveness worldwide shows Iowans all they need to know: Hinson and Miller-Meeks would rather side with party bosses than deliver solutions for the American people.”
