Thanks to Democrats’ economic agenda, last year the US economy grew at the fastest rate since 1984, and grew at a wildly impressive 6.9% pace in the final quarter of the year, once again greatly surpassing economists’ predictions.
2021’s rapid economic growth is further proof that President Biden and House Democrats’ smart economic leadership is delivering real results to help American families prosper.
Heading into 2022, Democrats are already working to build on their historic economic progress. Democrats’ policies have created a climate of economic growth, encouraging American companies to make major investments in manufacturing industries like car and microchip manufacturing. Just this week, the House unveiled the America COMPETES Act, which would significantly advance American manufacturing and strengthen supply chains.
While Republicans tried to block Democratic efforts that spurred this incredible economic growth, Democrats got to work and delivered for American families.
