Today Donald Trump’s controversial new hotel in Washington opened for business. Vulnerable millionaire Congressman Jeff Denham, who is in a tight race in California’s Central Valley, boasted about helping Trump secure the lucrative government contract.
The hotel is just blocks from Denham’s own luxury condo as well as the White House, which Denham hopes will be occupied by the divisive and reckless Trump.
Polling has consistently shown Trump’s unpopularity in Denham’s district and the Central Valley.
“The DC Trump hotel is physical evidence that millionaire Jeff Denham is looking out for billionaires like Donald Trump and leaving the Central Valley behind,” said Barb Solish of the DCCC.
