to stop the corruption and hold Republicans accountable. Polling shows that
more than Republicans when it comes to cleaning up corruption.
MS NOW reports on the Democrats across the battlefield making rooting out corruption a central argument of their campaigns, here’s what they have to say:
Bale Dalton (FL-07): “People are just so fed up. They’re obeying the law, trying to make a better life for their kids, trying to make ends meet in this cost of living crisis that we’re in, and watching the politicians up in D.C. — fat, dumb and happy — continuing to line their pockets.”
Shannon Taylor (VA-01): “Everyone is terrified about the rising costs. They’re also really angry about the system in D.C. being a corrupt political system. If I say no corporate PAC money, then I’m not going to take it. If I say don’t do any stock trading, I’m not going to do it.”
Paige Cognetti (PA-08): “We can save taxpayers money, we can make these programs work better.”
Bob Brooks (PA-07): “We’re watching Donald Trump get filthy rich, and we’re losing at the gas pumps and in the grocery stores.”
Other candidates like Zach Dembo (KY-06), Bob Harvie (PA-01), Leela Gray (FL-13), Pia Dandiya (FL-22), and Elaine Luria (VA-02) are carrying that same winning message.
DCCC Spokesperson Liam Buckley:
“Voters are sick of watching the price of everything go up while House Republicans and their billionaire backers get rich. Democrats are fighting to clean up Washington corruption and actually serve the American people, not special interests.”
