House Democrats just wrapped up two weeks in their districts, delivering the good news of the American Rescue Plan and its impact on families, schools, local governments, and small businesses. Their message: help is here. Meanwhile, Republicans in Congress, who voted unanimously against delivering relief to the American people, were in Florida at the former president’s resort with embattled GOP Congressman Matt Gaetz.
In town hall meetings at community centers and school yards, events with first responders and local leaders, Democrats in Congress are making sure the American people know exactly how the American Rescue Plan expands access to healthcare, funding for COVID vaccination, and gets people back to work and children back in school.
