| As Democrats continue to expand the map and target out-of-touch MAGA politicians in red-territory, the DCCC’s Frontline incumbents and Red to Blue candidates are reporting a commanding first quarter of the election year in comparison to the GOP.
Here are the facts from Q1 filings:
- On average, Democratic Frontliners outraised Republican challengers by nearly 5 to 1.
- Frontliners also boasted an average of over $2.4 million cash-on-hand – 7 times more than Republican challengers.
- The DCCC’s Red to Blue Candidates raised on average $1.5 million, with 4 of them raising more than $2 million in this quarter.
- 10 Red to Blue candidates outraised the Republican incumbent: JoAnna Mendoza (AZ-06), Christina Bohannan (IA-01), Sarah Trone Garriott (IA-03), Sean McCann (MI-04), Jamie Ager (NC-11), Paige Cognetti (PA-08), Janelle Stelson (PA-10), Chaz Molder (TN-05), Elaine Luria (VA-02), and Rebecca Cooke (WI-03).
- As Democrats across the country build their warchests, the NRCC’s so-called “MAGA Majority” candidates averaged just $697,000 raised, significantly trailing their Democratic Frontliner opponents across the battlefield.
- Red to Blue candidates also boast an average of $2.3 million cash on hand, more than twice as much as the $840,000 average of “MAGA Majority” candidates.
Q1 filings reveal sweeping grassroots support for House Democrats and Democratic challengers, powering their way to victory in November.
DCCC Spokesperson Viet Shelton:
“House Democrats have been on offense all cycle. While we are building momentum with a message focused on lowering costs, Republicans are stuck defending their out-of-control policies driving prices up. The contrast couldn’t be clearer, and our candidates are starting the election year with a formidable war chest.” |
