Nearly three years to the day after a mob stormed the US Capitol, GOP Conference Chair Elise Stefanik would not commit to certifying the 2024 presidential election.
Will the GOP candidates in California’s 49th District – Margarita Wilkinson, Sheryl Adams, Matt Gunderson, or Kate Monroe – commit to certifying the election, or will they stand by Trump and Stefanik?
Better yet, will the GOP field come clean to Californians about whether they’re endorsing Trump and supporting his MAGA cronies like Speaker Johnson?
Make no mistake: Margarita Wilkinson, Sheryl Adams, Matt Gunderson, or Kate Monroe, GOP House leadership, and vulnerable House Republicans are still enabling efforts to promote false conspiracy theories and undermine our democracy on Trump’s orders.
