Nearly three years to the day after a mob stormed the US Capitol, GOP Conference Chair Elise Stefanik would not commit to certifying the 2024 presidential election.
Will Scott Perry commit to certifying the election, or will he stand by Trump and Stefanik?
Make no mistake: Scott Perry, GOP House leadership, and other vulnerable House Republicans are still enabling efforts to promote false conspiracy theories and undermine our democracy on Trump’s orders.
It’s important to remember that Perry played a “central” role in the planning and execution of the attempt to overturn the 2020 election — acting as a “go-between for operatives close to Trump.”
