House Republicans are promoting a new ‘menu’ of options to balloon the deficit and cut taxes for big corporations and billionaires, all while screwing working families.
According to new reporting, the GOP Tax Scam Part 2 menu includes:
- Increasing the cost of life-saving medicines
- Scrapping food assistance
- Cutting relief for child care costs
- Ripping away health insurance coverage from millions of Americans
- Killing energy jobs
- Imposing a national sales tax on all Americans
- Ballooning the federal deficit
DCCC Spokesperson Justin Chermol:
“The GOP Tax Scam Part 2 is set to be yet another broken promise to working families everywhere. Rather than look for common ground to lower the cost of living, House Republicans are gearing up to give massive handouts to their wealthy donors and big corporations.”
