• Consumer confidence is down to near-record lows – Consumer sentiment fell to a final reading of 55.1, the seventh-lowest on records going back to 1952.
• The job market is cratering – With unemployment rising to 4.3%, its highest level since 2021, and the manufacturing sector losing a total of 78,000 jobs this year.

MAGA all-star Marjorie Taylor Greene is also saying the quiet part out loud, taking to social media today to lament that life is “UNAFFORDABLE for most Americans” and openly begging her party to “make this a priority.”
