Final Cook ratings changes don’t look good for House Republicans
Today, Cook Political Report made their final ratings update of the cycle and shifted six races towards House Democrats after “Democrats’ spending advantage has put them in a stronger position across several races that we’re moving in their favor.”
According to Punchbowl, in 22 of the 25 toss-up House races, Democrats outspent Republicans on the airwaves in the month of October: “it’s an undoubted boost for Democrats seeking to flip the House.”
In the final days of the 2024 election, non-partisan race raters have now shifted races 63 times in House Democrats’ favor compared to only 21 shifts towards House Republicans since the beginning of September.
DCCC Spokesperson Viet Shelton:
“Four more days ‘til House Republicans lose their majority.”
