Yesterday, the National Journal released their new ‘Power Rankings’ of the House seats most likely to flip – House Republicans dominated the list.
House Republicans made up the majority of the top 20 list and claimed the top three spots with freshmen Reps. Brandon Williams (NY-22), Anthony D’Esposito (NY-04), and John Duarte (CA-13) leading the way. The other most vulnerable Republicans that made the list are Reps. Mike Garcia (CA-27), Lori Chavez-DeRemer (OR-05), David Schweikert (AZ-01), Marc Molinaro (NY-19), Don Bacon (NE-02), Juan Ciscomani (AZ-06), David Valadao (CA-22), and Mariannette Miller-Meeks (IA-01).
All of these incumbents are saddled with extreme records that have prioritized abortion bans, dysfunction, and Donald Trump above the needs of working families. DCCC Red to Blue candidates are running formidable campaigns in each of these districts and are prepared to win these seats in November.
DCCC Spokesperson Viet Shelton:
“Abortion bans, threats to Social Security and Medicare, the least productive Congress in nearly a century. That’s what all of these vulnerable House Republicans have to defend for the next 39 days. Good luck.”
