In a cynical attempt to distract the public from months of Republican chaos, dysfunction and infighting, House GOP leadership is poised to hold a vote today to authorize an illegitimate impeachment inquiry into President Joe Biden – despite lacking evidence of wrongdoing.
According to Republican Ken Buck, “this impeachment inquiry was a result of President Trump’s pressure.”
Extreme conspiracy theorist and Trump loyalist Marjorie Taylor Greene bragged that the impeachment inquiry began without a vote earlier this fall because of her.
New Yorkers deserve to know: will Republican Alison Esposito fall in line with Trump and her party’s far-right extremists and support this partisan gamesmanship? Or will she focus on the real kitchen table issues that matter for constituents?
DCCC Spokesperson Ellie Dougherty:
“House Republicans’ obsession with political games and appeasing Donald Trump at the expense of their constituents is tiring, but unsurprising. Will Alison Esposito stand for more of the same if elected to the Halls of Congress?”
REMINDER: According to new polling, nearly 7 out of 10 voters in battleground districts said Republicans in Congress have prioritized the wrong things.
