Already reeling from House Republicans’ senseless cuts to Medicaid, rural hospital funding, and the ACA tax credits, Americans are set to see their health insurance premiums rise even more in 2027.
The New York Times:
“Millions of Americans who depend on Obamacare for their health insurance face another double-digit price increase next year, adding to the financial toll that has already driven millions of others to drop coverage since last year.”
Millions of Americans have already lost their health care thanks to Republicans’ Big Ugly Bill, which shifted costs onto working families to fund tax breaks for billionaires and corporations. Voters trust Democrats over Republicans on health care by a 20-point margin.
DCCC Spokesperson Liam Buckley:
“Just days before Election Day, voters are learning about an increase in their health care premiums — again — and they have Republicans to blame. No person should have to choose between getting the care they need and putting food on the table, but thanks to House Republicans’ senseless price hikes, that’s exactly the choice for millions of families.”
