House Republicans’ Extremism Will Cost Them in States With Abortion Ballot Initiatives

This November, 18 competitive House districts are also likely to have an abortion rights referendum on the ballot. The DCCC released a memo last week detailing how ballot measures will put these vulnerable House Republicans on the hook for pushing anti-abortion legislation – including a national abortion ban – in Congress.

Voters across the country know that House Democrats are the only party in Congress standing up for their reproductive rights, and these ballot measures will ensure that voters turn out to defend their freedoms and elect a majority in Congress that stands up for them.

The DCCC is already investing in efforts to call out some of these vulnerable House Republicans – including a recent billboard campaign in eight competitive districts across the country.
