House Republicans Fail to Do Their Job – AGAIN

House Republicans had another legislative meltdown Tuesday night highlighting to the American public yet again they are incapable of governing and consumed by dysfunction.

After pledging to pass all 12 funding bills this year, they have now had one fail on the House floor and another pulled minutes before voting was supposed to begin. It now appears House Republicans are giving up and do not have any plans to finish their duty to pass all necessary funding bills.

This latest failure is just another in a long line for this Republican-led Congress that has been the least productive Congress since the Great Depression. It’s one reason why voters overwhelmingly trust Democrats more to handle the issues that matter most to them, including defending their abortion rights, lowering health care costs, and protecting the middle class.

DCCC Spokesperson Viet Shelton:
“House Republicans are incapable of delivering for working families. Americans want lower costs and responsible governance. Instead, they’ve gotten nearly two years of Republican chaos, dysfunction, and extremism. The incompetence of House Republicans will be a driving reason that the public will help Democrats retake the majority in November.”
