Rep. Maria Elvira Salazar (FL-27): “They have assured me that [Trump] is a different man.” (CNN)
Rep. Mariannette Miller-Meeks (IA-01): “Observing President Trump… to me, you hear a change in his tone.” (WQAD)
Rep. Anthony D’Esposito (NY-04): “We are putting the rhetoric aside.” (PBS)
Rep. Anna Paulina Luna (FL-13): “It is time that we all rise to [Trump’s] stature.” (PBS)
Despite their attempts to display the contrary, the RNC offered much of the same fear mongering and hateful rhetoric Trump and Republicans have displayed for years.
