House Republicans are in full-blown panic mode as they go knives-out on their fellow GOPers ahead of their impending defeat.
Reporting from POLITICO quotes House Republicans in panic:
- “The leadership at the NRCC is living in a bubble. We’re getting killed out here.”
- “We’re running for our lives.”
- “Sounds to me like some in leadership need to focus on winning races instead of gaming their next steak donor dinner.”
No matter how many Americans say they’re sick of watching prices skyrocket, Republicans refuse to connect the dots between their votes for tariffs, the war in Iran, and health care cuts and the fact that their majority is doomed.
DCCC Spokesperson Liam Buckley:
“House Republicans still don’t realize that they’re the problem: their broken promises, their votes hiking prices, and their miserable economy. If they’re looking for a culprit, they should look in the mirror.”
