According to new analysis, the Department of Education is withholding billions of funds to public schools across the country, including more than $6 million in grants appropriated to Nebraska’s 2nd Congressional District.
Without these funds, schools in Don Bacon’s district may not be able to hire new teachers, train educators, or provide affordable after-school care for working families.
As GOP candidates Brinker Harding and Brett Lindstrom cheer on House Republicans’ efforts to rip food off Nebraska children’s tables, students and working families are missing out on the support and resources they need.

“Nebraska’s GOP, including Don Bacon, is more than happy to let Trump play political football with Nebraska children’s futures. Harding and Lindstrom will be nothing more than another rubber stamp for Trump’s extremism that puts Nebraskans last.”
