House Republicans’ Plan To Raise Health Care Costs Deeply Unpopular With Latinos

While House Republicans continue trying to raise the costs of prescription medication, new polling from Navigator Research shows that a supermajority of Latino voters oppose their efforts.

87% of Latino voters support Democrats’ efforts to cut prescription medication costs by letting Medicare negotiate lower prices.

House Republicans have proposed a “full repeal” of the Inflation Reduction Act prescription medication caps.

DCCC Spokesperson José Muñoz:
“Latinos, like all Americans, are concerned with the rising cost of living. While House Democrats worked tirelessly to lower the costs of prescription medications, MAGA Republicans haven’t been shy about their desire to repeal these caps and raise health care costs. It’s clear that this is wildly unpopular with Latino voters, which is why they will help elect a Democratic majority in November that will actually focus on results for them.”
