| “Shutdown Mike” and House Republicans are scheming to extend the DHS shutdown that is causing increased airport delays and TSA workers to go without pay for weeks.
As a result, Republicans are freaking out and openly admitting they will be blamed by the American people for increased lines at airports, MS NOW reports. Rep. Carlos Gimenez, for example, said the House GOP would “end up owning this shutdown.”
Former White House Press Secretary Ari Fleischer, in an interview with Fox News, agreed: “Republicans in the House now, are going to be the ones who own the blame for TSA workers and the delays at the airports.”
