House Republicans Push America Last Budget to Fund Trump’s War of Choice in the Middle East

House Republicans are scheming to pass a partisan budget to fund Trump’s reckless war of choice in the Middle East while failing to make life more affordable at home, and it’s turning into a boondoggle that will cost them the midterms.

The far-right package doesn’t do a thing to lower costs for working families and instead sticks taxpayers with the bill by adding tens of billions more to the national debt.

Since the war started, gas prices have skyrocketed, housing costs have gone up, and life has become more and more expensive.

The America Last budget comes on the heels of two other reconciliation bills that enacted the largest cut to Medicaid and SNAP in American history to fund massive tax breaks for billionaires, and billions of dollars to an unaccountable ICE that is terrorizing communities and brutalizing Americans and law-abiding immigrant families.
