House Republicans are currently whipping their caucus to vote against the Chips and Science Act, legislation that will bring jobs to the United States.
This historic bill will invest in research and production of semiconductor chips, which are essential in everything from gaming systems to automobiles. This investment will reduce America’s reliance on foreign countries, boost our ability to compete with China, and secure supply chains through good-paying American manufacturing jobs, yet Republicans are trying to take a wrecking ball to solutions that will better America.
