HYPOCRISY ALERT: COFFMAN A CLIENT OF JASON CROW’S “SHADY” LAW FIRM

In the first debate in Colorado’s 6th Congressional District, Rep. Mike Coffman was asked about his attacks on Jason Crow’s legal work at Holland & Hart, but what Coffman fails to reveal is that he’s a paying client of Holland & Hart and has taken their donations over the course of his campaigns.

“And Mike, for you, you’ve talked a lot about [Jason] working for Holland and Hart and yet this is a law firm that your campaign has hired to do work for you, um, you’ve taken campaign donations from this firm. So –this seems kind of hypocritical?” – debate moderator

Not surprisingly, Coffman refused to answer the question directly. Here’s why: Coffman has taken $491,096 from law firms despite lobbing baseless attacks on Crow.

“Career politician Mike Coffman has gotten desperate in his attacks, especially when he’s a client of the same law firm that he’s attacking,” said DCCC spokesperson Rachel Irwin. “Not only has Coffman retained this firm’s services, he’s also taken their campaign cash. Coffman’s hypocrisy is as desperate as these false attacks on Crow, who has proudly served his country and community as a combat veteran and Denver’s pro-bono lawyer of the year. Down in the polls, Coffman is grasping at straws to hold onto his seat in Trump’s Washington and has lost the last ounce of credibility he had left.”
