Earlier this year, Ashley Hinson went viral for hypocritically taking credit for infrastructure investments made possible by the Bipartisan Infrastructure Law which she voted against.
Now, Hinson the Hypocrite is back at it – claiming to champion lock and dam upgrades despite voting against the law that is making those improvements possible.
These critical lock and dam upgrades will help Iowa farmers ship goods to market, alleviate supply chain stress, and create good-paying construction jobs – but Hinson chose to sell out her constituents and fall in line with party bosses to try to stop infrastructure improvements from happening.
“Ashley Hinson says one thing in Iowa but does another in Washington,” said DCCC spokesperson Elena Kuhn. “Hinson the Hypocrite’s latest about-face is yet another reminder you can’t trust a word she says.”
