A new report is exposing vulnerable Republican Mariannette Miller-Meeks after her campaign pocketed thousands of dollars from Chinese-state-owned agriculture giant Syngenta despite Miller-Meeks pretending to be concerned with China’s influence.
Miller-Meeks accepted a total of $8,500 from Syngenta, which owns approximately 1500 acres of U.S. farmland. After taking the donations, Miller-Meeks claimed the U.S. “should take every action to prevent the CCP from taking over American farmland.”
Miller-Meeks is saying one thing in Iowa and doing another in Washington as she stays more focused on stuffing her campaign coffers than delivering for working families.
DCCC Spokesperson Mallory Payne:
“Mariannette Miller-Meeks’ hypocrisy is on full display. She’s just another DC politician who only cares about staying in power – even if a Chinese Communist Party-owned company helps her do it – and has no problem lying straight to Iowans’ faces.”
