ICYMI: Extremists Junge and Scalise Campaign Together

This week, MI-08 GOP candidate and California trust fund millionaire Paul Junge brought fellow extremist Steve Scalise to Michigan, once again making clear whose agenda Junge would support in Congress.

Junge hasn’t tried to hide that he is allied with extremists like Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene. Now, he’s proudly campaigning with Scalise, one of the ringleaders of the radical Republican caucus. Scalise has touted Republicans’ efforts to gut Social Security and Medicare and has a long history of supporting dangerous abortion bans. Scalise also spoke at a 2002 white supremacist conference and reportedly compared himself to a former Ku Klux Klan leader.

Junge has shown time and time again his allegiances lie with extreme national Republicans in Washington, not with the people of mid-Michigan. If elected, Junge would help them implement their harmful agenda that would privatize Social Security, gut Medicare, and ban nearly all abortions.

DCCC Spokesperson Matt Corridoni:
“With under two weeks till Election Day, California trust fund millionaire Paul Junge has made it clear he’d side with extreme National Republicans in Congress rather than stand with Michiganders. Junge desperately wants to join extreme national Republicans and help them enact their dangerous agenda to ban abortion, gut health care, and privatize Social Security.”
