Marc Molinaro is falling short of his fellow New York Republicans in rebuking George Santos.
While at least four other New York Republicans who received campaign contributions from Santos have already returned or donated Santos’ contributions, Marc Molinaro is refusing to follow suit.
When asked about what he plans to do with Santos’ $1,000 contribution to his campaign, Molinaro refused to address the contribution.
REMINDER: George Santos is facing several complaints with the Federal Election Commission for multiple campaign finance violations, and Molinaro voted to make it more difficult for the Office of Congressional Ethics to investigate Santos’ corruption.
DCCC Spokesperson Nebeyatt Betre
“Molinaro’s grip on Santos’ shady funding proves to voters that Molinaro is more concerned with keeping his own campaign coffers full than holding Santos accountable.”
