The Oregonian Editorial Board has endorsed Congressman Kurt Schrader in Oregon’s fifth congressional district, calling him the “best path back to D.C.” for Democrats.
The Editorial Board also highlighted Schrader’s work to pass President Biden’s infrastructure package, which delivered critical funds to improve Oregon’s roads, bridges, and water systems, while creating good paying jobs across the district.
Simply put: “Voters looking for their most competitive candidates in November should keep Schrader as the Democratic nominee.”

“Congressman Schrader has been critical in advancing President Biden’s agenda – from fighting to lower the cost of prescription drugs and tackle our climate crisis to protecting a woman’s right to choose. We need a candidate who can win in November and keep delivering on these critical issues, and Congressman Schrader is the person for the job.”
