CNN’s Erin Burnett To Zeldin: “You’re Making That Part Up… That Is False.”
Another day, another lie told by Lee Zeldin.
Tuesday night on Erin Burnett OutFront, Zeldin dodged, deflected, and distorted critical facts surrounding national security.

Burnett extensively fact-checked Zeldin’s inaccurate claims, pointing out his lies five times in twenty seconds. Burnett also called out Zeldin for not having done his homework before the interview: when he claimed “I haven’t seen a lot of reporting on this,” Burnett pointed out that it had been covered “extensively.”
And while he refused to say—multiple times—if he shared Senator Mitt Romney’s concerns about the allegations facing President Trump, the sitting Congressman retorted instead that Romney was “still upset he wasn’t elected President of the United States.”
