ICYMI: Rep. Vindman Joins MSNBC to Call Out Trump’s Retribution Campaign

In case you missed it, Virginia Congressman Eugene Vindman joined MSNBC’s The Last Word last night to outline allegations that Donald Trump is engaging in a retribution campaign against him.

The allegation came the day after Rep. Vindman demanded the release of a 2019 phone call transcript between Trump and Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman regarding the murder of journalist and Virginia resident Jamal Khashoggi.

TRANSCRIPT HIGHLIGHTS:

MSNBC Host: Congressman, can you explain more about this allegation of a retribution campaign against you? What is being alleged by the Trump Administration?

Rep. Vindman: The day after I made my floor speech demanding transparency from this Administration, I got a letter from the Department of Defense general counsel alleging that I had violated the Emoluments Clause. The long and short is the allegations are false, they’re half truths, they’re innuendos, and they’re just not true. It’s an attempt to intimidate and silence me about work that I did in support of Ukraine.
