ICYMI: Study Shows Stimulus Checks Perry Voted Against Helped Americans

Perry Voted Against Trump & Biden Signed Stimulus Checks

ICYMI: New analysis from Census Bureau surveys shows the two rounds of stimulus checks that Scott Perry voted against, $600 in December under Trump & $1,400 in March under Biden, “significantly improved Americans’ ability to buy food and pay household bills and reduced anxiety and depression, with the largest benefits going to the poorest households and those with children.”

The study found:

  • Food shortages dropped by 42% for households with children
  • Financial instability dropped by 43% for households with children
  • Frequent anxiety and depression fell more than 20% among all households

DCCC Spokesperson James Singer

“This analysis underscores what we knew to be true: Scott Perry has turned his back on the people of Pennsylvania. As Democrats deliver results to help the American people, Perry has spent the last six months voting against their interests to instead undermine our democracy and align himself with the most extreme members of the Republican party.”
