Thanks to President Biden and Democrats’ economic leadership, the US increased wages by 5.1% over the past 12 months, lowered unemployment to 3.8%, and added over 600,000 jobs in February alone.
The Labor Department’s jobs report reflects strong economic growth, and economists are reporting that “the labor market continues to be quite hot”, a great sign of an economy on the rise.
Recent job numbers and economic studies are all pointing towards one thing: Democrats’ economic agenda is working. The American Rescue Plan and the Infrastructure and Jobs Act have surged economic growth and are helping Americans get back to work. But Republicans have stood in the way at every turn, voting against these economy-boosting measures in the name of petty politics. Today’s numbers are a clear reminder that our economic recovery is bouncing back because Democrats – not Republicans – are at the helm.
