Americans are holding vulnerable House Republicans’ feet to the fire for voting to pass a destructive budget scam and once again choosing their D.C. party bosses and billionaires over delivering for their constituents, including lowering costs.
Over the past several weeks, local and national coverage has highlighted protests in swing districts across the country calling out GOP members over the proposed cuts to critical programs like Medicaid, including David Valadao (CA-22), Ken Calvert (CA-41), Gabe Evans (CO-08), Mike Lawler (NY-17), Mariannette Miller-Meeks (IA-01), Zach Nunn (IA-03), Ryan Mackenzie (PA-07), and Scott Perry (PA-10).
DCCC Spokesperson Ellie Dougherty:
“Americans are outraged by vulnerable House Republicans siding with their extreme D.C. party bosses over lowering costs for families. Voters in swing districts have just given a brief preview of what voting to gut Medicaid will mean for their GOP representatives heading into November 2026.”
