Mike Lawler – the self-proclaimed top recipient of Elon Musk’s 2024 campaign donations – refused to criticize his billionaire donor’s financial interests in China amid reports that Musk would receive a confidential briefing on potential war with China.
“Are you concerned about the fact that [Musk] would be given a briefing about war plans?” CNN asked Lawler during his disastrous interview Thursday night.
Instead of giving a clear answer, Lawler dodged the question with politician doublespeak.
Lawler, who earlier this year bragged to Chris Cuomo about being a top recipient of Elon Musk’s campaign donations, continues to prove that despite his desperate claims, he’s no bipartisan problem solver – but rather a hyperpartisan puppet.

“Elon Musk is shutting down a Social Security office that serves New York’s 17th Congressional district, yet Lawler won’t say a bad word about him. Why? Because he’s bought and paid for by the unelected billionaire.”
