The IRA has created more than 334,000 jobs nationwide and lowered costs for millions of families since 2022
Two years ago, the Inflation Reduction Act was signed into law, historic legislation that has delivered for working families across the country by cutting costs, creating jobs, and investing in American manufacturing.
Capped prescription drug costs for Medicare recipients at $2,000 per year (starting in 2025). More than 18 million seniors will save an average of $400 a year, 1.8 million of which could save as much as $2,500 a year.
Kept the health care industry from raising costs on 28,000 people in IA-03 by $950 per year.
Falling in line with DC politicians, Zach Nunn opposed this landmark legislation. Now, he’s part of a group that’s pushing to repeal the job creating investments in the Inflation Reduction Act.
DCCC Spokesperson Mallory Payne:
“Zach Nunn’s opposition to the Inflation Reduction Act is just one example of why Iowans cannot trust him to support common sense legislation that lowers costs, creates jobs, and grows the middle class – and is why Iowans will elect new representation in November.”
