Last night, Mariannette Miller-Meeks and Zach Nunn voted to pass a far-right budget blueprint that would decimate critical programs that Iowans rely on, like Medicaid, instead of lowering costs.
In IA-01, Miller-Meeks’ dangerous vote risks health care coverage for 66,000 people and food assistance for nearly 29,000 households.
In IA-03, Nunn’s vicious vote risks health care coverage for 74,000 people and food assistance for more than 31,000 households.
Despite the loud outcry of Iowans warning Miller-Meeks and Nunn to vote against decimating Medicaid and threatening their livelihoods, both vulnerable House Republicans still voted to pass this destructive budget scam, once again choosing their D.C. party bosses and billionaires over Iowa families.
