| More than a year into the Republican trifecta in Washington, prices are still soaring, health care is too expensive (and in some cases not affordable at all), and the American people are blaming Republicans for their broken promises.
Now that Trump has admitted rising prices and the awful economy is his fault, will David Valadao continue to fall in line or try to run away from his broken promises?
For someone who has a 98% voting record with Trump, I bet we know the answer.
A recent poll from Fox News found Donald Trump is 19 points underwater on the economy, being dragged down by Latinos (-26) and Independent voters (-60). 83% of Independents and 68% of voters overall do not think Trump is spending enough time on the economy. Meanwhile, Democrats are more trusted to handle affordability (+14 points), helping the middle class (+14 points), and health care (+21 points).
