Facing weeks of outrage from voters across the country because of their dangerous plan to gut Medicaid and take food off of the tables of working families to bankroll tax breaks for their billionaire backers, House Republicans were given clear and direct orders from their party bosses this morning: Run and Hide.
Reporting today from inside a private meeting revealed that NRCC Chair Richard Hudson declared Republicans should stop holding in-person town halls.
DCCC Spokesperson Viet Shelton:
“So House Republicans’ political strategy is ‘see no families nor workers,’ ‘hear no protesters’, ‘speak to no one’ and hope everyone gets less angry at them when they rip away Americans’ health care? Got it.”
