Not even two weeks after making offensive remarks about U.S. veterans, Donald Trump is once again in the spotlight as his campaign “had a verbal and physical altercation… with an official at Arlington National Cemetery” for bringing a campaign photographer to a wreath-laying ceremony.
According to cemetery officials, federal law “prohibits political campaigning or ‘election-related’ activities within Army cemeteries.”
Jen Kiggans and Derrick Anderson – who are running in congressional districts with more than 80,000 and 74,000 veterans, respectively – have been silent about Trump’s behavior.
With their blind allegiance to Trump and MAGA extremism, Kiggans and Anderson remain a threat to Virginia’s military families.
DCCC Spokesperson Lauryn Fanguen:
“Jen Kiggans and Derrick Anderson are showing Virginians exactly who they are: self-serving politicians ready to bend the knee to Donald Trump no matter how much harm he causes to their communities. Military families know that they can’t trust Kiggans and Anderson to fight for them in Congress – and that’s why they will reject them this November.”
