Jen Kiggans and Rob Wittman Refuse to Address the Skyrocketing Costs and Health Care Crisis They Created

Congresswoman Jen Kiggans and Congressman Rob Wittman are running from the health care crisis they’ve unleashed on Virginia.

Polling shows that “more than 78% of people surveyed by the nonpartisan health organization KFF” – including 82% of independents – support extending the Affordable Care Act (ACA) tax credits.

But rather than negotiate with Democrats and Republicans to prevent Virginians’ health care costs from skyrocketing, Jen Kiggans and Rob Wittman chose to skip town instead.

As a result of Kiggans and Wittman skipping town and voting to gut Medicaid, Virginia is getting hit with a “one-two punch” health care crisis that will leave people with higher costs and less access to care.
DCCC Spokesperson Eli Cousin:
“Jen Kiggans and Rob Wittman would rather skip town than work to prevent Virginians’ health care costs from skyrocketing. Both Kiggans and Wittman have unleashed a health care crisis on Virginia, and they will be held accountable at the ballot box next November.”
