| Vulnerable Republican Jen Kiggans just tied herself even tighter to Donald Trump by receiving his endorsement today, even as his approval rating craters to historic lows.
The endorsement goes both ways: Kiggans has voted with Trump 100 percent of the time this Congress, even when it hurts Virginia. That includes casting a decisive vote for Trump’s One Big Beautiful Bill, which made the largest cuts to health care in history in order to fund tax cuts for billionaires. Kiggans’ vote has resulted in skyrocketing health care costs and caused multiple health care clinics across Virginia to close their doors.
Kiggans was also a day-one supporter of Trump’s devastating DOGE cuts, describing them as “so necessary.” The Kiggans-supported cuts uprooted Virginia’s economy and slashed funding for veterans services and facilities.
And Kiggans has supported Trump’s reckless war of choice in Iran that is causing gas prices to soar across Coastal Virginia.
