Jobs Report Shows Republican Economic Agenda Is Failing America’s Workers

July’s weak jobs report reveals a foreboding outlook for the nation’s economy due to Republicans’ failed agenda and broken promises.

Even more stunning, not only was the July jobs report weak, but downward revisions to June and May job numbers reveal a stunning example of how House Republicans’ and Donald Trump’s agenda of sweeping tariffs is negatively impacting the entire economy as American families struggle with rising prices.

Notable in the latest report was the fact that despite promises by Republicans that sweeping tariffs would help boost blue-collar factory jobs, the country actually lost 37,000 manufacturing jobs over the last three months.

In short: Republicans are ruining the economy, stalling American job growth, and working families are getting stuck with the bill.
