John Duarte: “I’m not that far from a lot of these Freedom Caucus guys”

This morning, freshman Republican John Duarte – who represents a district President Biden won in 2020 – made clear he supports the extreme MAGA Republican agenda that endangers public safety, kills jobs, and slashes earned-benefits for seniors.

On fiscal issues, Duarte told Punchbowl News, “I’m not that far from a lot of these Freedom Caucus guys.”

The House Freedom Caucus agenda includes:

• Cutting food assistance programs

• Gutting good-paying, clean energy jobs

• Decreasing funding for law enforcement

• Increasing prescription drug costs
