John James: All Talk, No Action on Great Lakes

Michiganders deserve to know whether or not MI-10 candidate John James would have voted for Bipartisan Infrastructure Law and its $1B investment in Great Lakes

Two-time failed politician John James likes to talk a big game – like this weekend when he touted the importance of “healthy and clean waterways” and promised to get “even more resources to help keep our water clean.” But when it comes time for results, he’s nowhere to be found.

After nearly two months of running for office, John James has refused to say if he’d support the Bipartisan Infrastructure Law, which funds a $1 billion investment in the Great Lakes Restoration Initiative and will help clean and strengthen waterways and drive economic growth.

“John James’ refusal to say whether he’d support critical investments to protect the Great Lakes tells you everything you need to know about why he can’t be trusted to protect clean water in Michigan,” said DCCC spokesperson Elena Kuhn.
