Report: Trump and House Republicans’ Project 2025 would immediately raise taxes on typical Michigan families by $2,797
John James and Donald Trump are all in on their plan to raise taxes on millions of middle class families.
According to a new analysis, Donald Trump’s and James’ Project 2025 would dramatically overhaul the tax system and raise taxes on a typical family of four in Michigan by $2,797, all while cutting taxes for the wealthiest households in the country. This disastrous agenda would also give the biggest corporations in the country a massive handout, cutting their taxes by billions of dollars.
DCCC Spokesperson Aidan Johnson:
“John James, House Republicans, and Donald Trump have only ever cared about one thing: taking care of their ultra wealthy friends at the expense of Michiganders. Two more years of James in office means higher taxes for working families when we should be lowering taxes and lowering costs – and that’s why voters will reject him in November.” |
